Oribe Becomes Sulfate Free

Eliminates sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate from formulas.

All Oribe shampoos are now free of sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES).

When Oribe launched 11 years ago, the company created shampoos with gentle sulfates, naturally derived from corn, oat and coconut. As sulfate-free technology evolved and consumer mindsets changed, the company created new shampoo formulas with sulfate-free cleansers. Now Oribe has updated three of its original formulas—Signature Shampoo, Shampoo for Beautiful Color and Shampoo for Brilliance and Shine—to be sulfate free.

The company worked to ensure that the overall performance and aesthetic has the same effect and benefits for the hair, it said.
